Gas Furnace Reviews

There are many different gas furnace companies; some are good some are not so good. But none of the gas furnace companies are really bad. Every review that you may look at often involves some sort of bad experience or some sort of biased opinion leaning towards one company or another.

Gas Furnaces have evolved during the years.  Each company now produces good furnaces. There is not one better than the other as far as quality goes. Each company offers certain type of service that is unique only to that company.

As far as the furnace manufacturing goes they only build the heat exchanger, cabinet, and housing. However, they do not build their own circuit boards, motors, burners, controls. Limit switches, draft inducers, pressure controls, gas valves, ignition control, and hot surface igniters. These electrical components are often bought from places such as GE, Honeywell, White dodgers, and Robert Shaw.

Often times a review form a consumer is based upon a negative experience. The consumer never takes into consideration of what company that part came from. Another reality that needs to be taken into consideration is how long has that product been running. Most products that break are well above their warranty and have been used to the max that it can possibly be used. There really is not a big difference in the number of repairs from one company to the next. Each furnace company really is a good company if there was a bad company in this economy, the company would not survive.

However, if you are looking for a company that is top notch, Goodman is the best choice. Goodman offers many warranties, Government grant rebates, excellent pricing and free shipping. All in all this company has the consumer in mind first. This way of thinking for a company will bring them far beyond prestige designs.

To recap, there really is no consumer review that you can rely upon without a biased opinion. Consideration needs to be taken in to order when you read a negative report. Research what part has broken and where that part has been manufactured from. Take the time into consideration as well as what the piece is that has been damaged. Some parts are more sensitive than others such as the circuit board.

Also, look at how a company treats their customers. If they are good to a customer you really cannot go wrong with choosing that company.

Just about any furnace you buy these days will be highly efficient. For additional information on  High Efficiency Gas Furnaces
